In 1980, a small group of dedicated individuals recognized the need to provide personal, compassionate care for the terminally ill in Southwest Washington. They set out to raise the money necessary to make a hospice program a reality. In only a few years, their dream came true with the opening of Hospice Southwest.

Friends of Hospice Southwest Washington, a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer corporation, has worked for over thirty-five years to supplement the financial resources of our local hospice programs. Today, with the help of many volunteers and donors, Friends of Hospice Southwest Washington supports the efforts of Peace Health, Southwest Home Health and Hospice, Ray Hickey Hospice House, Community Home Health and Hospice and The Elaine and Don Heimbigner Hospice Care Center as they continue to provide the best of medical and compassionate care for the terminally ill in greater Southwest Washington.

Please come and attend one of our meetings and see what we are all about. Our General Membership meets every 3rd Monday of every month, 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at:
