Cooking Classes

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, chef Edurne Andre has agreed to teach our cooking classes virtually.  Recipes and zoom connection information will be Chefsent out in advance allowing participants to gather ingredients so they may cook right along with the chef.  (No refunds will be honored after the recipes are sent out.) Chef Edurne teaches cooking classes at Clark College and Portland Community College

Tapas

Tapas are wonderful morsels of food that started in the South of Spain.  Learn about the history of tapas and how to make some of the most tasty and common tapas.  You will learn to make Chickpeas with spinach, Seville eggplant, fried calamari, Andalucia style artichoke hearts and Seafood Salpicon.

Turkish Cuisine Learn some wonderful recipes from the always exotic Ottoman empire.  We will start with some Turkish Shepherd’s salad with Tahini dressing, a wonderful pastry, the Spinach and Feta Borek, great tasting spiced lamb meatballs with yogurt sauce and the usual dessert of Kunefe.
